One burger, one customer, one experience is the motto of founding owners Ted and Rich who started out in backyard cookouts, and set out to reinvent the “burger Joint” from the 1950s.

Burgers, fries and shakes are the main staple of this fast paced diner in Lahaina, but the specialty burgers is where the magic happens. No burger joint in Hawaii would be complete without a Hawaiian Style Burger. Theirs comes with your choice of beef or chicken topped with pineapple and smothered in teriyaki, but you can get a little more messy choosing the Kailua Burger, with teriyaki, mushrooms, swiss and sweet grilled onions. If you like the spicy stuff try the Bandito, with jalapeños and a rich cheddar cheese sauce, but you won’t be able to eat at Teddy’s just once; so next time try the Cajun Burger, dusted with Teddy’s own cajun seasoning and topped with pepper jack cheese.

Whether you like Teddy’s original beef burgers or you’re more in the mood for chicken or fish, you can mix and match the toppings or build your own—just don’t forget to finish it off with an extra thick shake. The Dreamsicle Shake is bound to give you a blast from the past!
